Quartet Records re-releases classic out-of-print Alan Silvestri action score with a special 2-CD edition.
Based on the real life terrorist plot of the hijacked TWA Flight 847, The Delta Force (1986) by The Cannon Group is one of the most successful and memorable mission movies from the 1980s. Starring Lee Marvin and Chuck Norris as the leaders of several hostage rescue attempts that eventually climax in a memorable rundown showdown in the Middle East, Menahem Golan's action vehicle turned out to be a major success that spanned two sequels and one memorable soundtrack.
Alan Silvestri was the composer for The Delta Force fresh off his successful Back to the Future score - although the two scores couldn't be further apart. While Zemeckis' movie demanded an epic orchestral accompaniment, The Delta Force is fully electronic and was realized with the Synclavier system. Even though it has no live instruments in it, Silvestri's music spans one of the most epic and patriotic marches from the 1980s in addition to creepy textures for the terrorists and even some sympathetic character-building moments.
Originally released by Milan on LP and CD, the first release of The Delta Force was notorious because the CD omitted an important track from the LP program ("The Rescue"). The first complete edition of the score was released by Intrada in 2008, but their limited edition of 1000 copies was sold out in a four hours!. Our two-disc release contains same Intrada's extended program on Disc 1, while Disc 2 contains the original Milan LP with a carefully selected programed by Silvestri himself - including the track that was previously unreleased on CD. The 12-page liner notes by Gergely Hubai discuss the film, the score and give a track-by-track breakdown with explanation on the differences between the two programs.

Chuck Norris' former 'Walker, Texas Ranger' home on market
A house that served as the on-screen home for Chuck Norris in his "Walker, Texas Ranger" days has hit the market for $1.2 million.
The home was a prominent feature in the TV series that aired from 1993-2001.
The four-bedroom, seven-bath home totals 7,362 square feet at 6512 Meadowcreek Drive in the Northwood Hills neighborhood of near Belt Line Road and Preston Road.
Norris' brother, Aaron Norris, owns the property and is selling the home formerly used for filming the famed action television series. The Dallas Central Appraisal District values the property at nearly $1.1 million.
"Aaron lived in the house after 'Walker, Texas Ranger' left," said Rogers Healy, owner of Dallas-based Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate, of the property that hit the market Monday. Healy is marketing the property.

Chuck Norris has become a legend in his own lifetime. He is not only considered one of the best and most successful martial artist of all time, but also as an icon of the action film.
He comes from a modest background and had to work hard for everything. Norris won numerous titles as an athlete and was instrumental in that martial arts were so popular in the West.
His experience and success as a competitor he used for his acting career that he already accelerated in the 70s and enjoyed success with films like "The Way Of The Dragon", "Good Guys Wear Black" and "A Force Of One".
He again made pioneering work, since he was the first western star in classic martial arts films and action genre long before the later competitors Stallone and Schwarzenegger left its stamp on.

Mission Air. Years of missionary sevice hangs in the balance when a group of bandito's put Mission Air in a fight or flight situation.

Isabella Ireland, a beautiful and fiery Latin woman and her son Michael (21) are in the midst of an obscure jungle mission. Isabella is finishing up what she had come to do. Deliver relief, and nurture the love of God that was brought to Aleda De Luz years ago. It was another amazing trip. Isabella gives her goodbyes to everyone as Michael says goodbye to Marisol a constant missionary at Aleda De Luz, and a girl he has a crush on.
As Isabella and Michael are making their way through the brush to the plane they use for Mission Air, they are jumped by a group of Bandito's. Michael holds the men at bay as Isabella runs towards the plane. Gun fire erupts hitting the plane.Michael wins the battle but unknown to him one of the bullets fired by the bandito's hits one of their own. Killing him. Isabella and Michael escape but are shaken by the experience, and must now wonder, is it safe anymore?
Upon arrival back at Mission Air and landing on the runway that sits in their front yard, Isabella and Michael are greeted by Max and the entire family and staff. Max Ireland greets his wife and son and notices bullet holes on the side of the plane. Max and Isabella exchange a look, "This will be discussed later". But now a homecoming is in order.
After Michael, the Ireland children are Sophie (19), Bella (14), Grace (12) and James (10). It becomes apparent very fast that although the children love Max, it is MOM and mom's FAITH, which is the glue that holds this family together. For a moment all is well.
With the plane out of commission, it is up to Johnny Dingo, the Mission Air chief mechanic by day, and Elvis impersonator at all times, to get Max to his job. Max has spent 20 years as an airline pilot. A job he loves a job he needs and the job that keeps Mission Air afloat.
Max is dressed in his airline captain's uniform reluctantly, not wanting to get on Johnny Dingo's rust bucket of a plane. As Max turns to say goodbye to his family he is stuck with his second heart attack.
As Max lies in the hospital after a successful procedure, In Mexico Solomon Herrera begins to plot his revenge. As the leader of a theft ring in Mexico his focused has now shifted to the Ireland's. The people he feels are responsible for his brother's death in the fight.
When Max gets released from the hospital he finds out shortly after that he has also been released from his job. This throws Max into a tailspin of depression and anger.Isabella does what she can to keep moral high and be there for her husband and kids. But, now Mission Air is left to reassess its purpose.
With moral low and struggling to keep the Missions doors open Sophie; the eldest daughter, is kidnapped by one of Solomon's men from the restaurant she works at.
With only a Wing & a Prayer the Ireland's go full force to retrieve their daughter and clear there name. A huge battle ensues with Solomon at Aleda De Luz, only to realize the Power and Dominion God has and the miracles that can take place when all seems lost.
Script- Written- I have written a lot of screenplays. This one is the best of all.
Pre Production May 20 to July 1 We will be casting at this time also. although we can't name names until we begin and are funded having name talent is very important. We will get at least 2 VERY recognizable name for our film "MISSION AIR"
Production- July 6 to August 15 This may seem fast and it is. We run and gun. We don't waste time or money on large trucks or all those things that make it look like your making a movie. We just make the movie. And make it good.
Post Production- July 15 to November 12 We do all our Post Production at MPS studios in Dallas. They are amazingly talented and have been very good to us at 2nd Fiddle.

This Gala celebrates kids and the success of the KICKSTART KIDS program in middle schools across the State of Texas. The evening begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by an elegant dinner. You won't want to miss the exciting live auction and a demonstration by the KICKSTART KIDS.

A second conservative American celebrity has come out with an endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his upcoming election on January 22nd.
A day after Donald Trump labeled Netanyahu a "winner," Chuck Norris released an audio saying, "you might think I'm a tough guy in my films, but in a rough neighborhood like the Middle East, Israel has its own tough guy, his name is Bibi Netanyahu."
Norris goes on to praise Netanyahu's efforts to combat Hamas, bring quiet to southern Israel and stop illegal immigration. He also praises the Netanyahu orchestrated deal to release Gilad Shalit.
Both endorsements where secured by Israeli political consultant Jonny Daniels who is emerging as a key Likud party activist.

US action movie star Chuck Norris became the latest celebrity to endorse Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the January 22 election.
The endorsement from Norris came on the heels of US real estate mogul Donald Trump's announcement that he supports Netanyahu in the election.
Norris was scheduled to speak Netanyahu on Wednesday evening in a conversation organized by Johnny Daniels, the Israeli Republican political consultant who organized the Trump endorsement.
Norris first gained notoriety as a martial artist in the 1970s, before starring in films such as Delta Force and the television series Walker, Texas Ranger. Norris has previously contributed to the campaigns of several Republican political candidates in the US.
